Men On The Flying Trapeze
A little while back Kokoromi organized yet another Gamma party. The theme for this year’s gamma was “one button games”. So we decided to give it a go and do a two player version of The Amazing Flying Brothers.

Instructions
You play as the infamouse flying brothers as they try to perform the flying trapeze act. The game is a two player coop game. Your job is to get as big of a score as you can.
Controls:
Player 1: Left shift.
Player 2: Right shift.
The game is a one button game, so no more then one button per player is needed. Tap on the button to release your grip. Holding down on the button will cause you to speed up or slow down. If you press down, when going down you’ll accelerate. If you press down when going up, you’ll slow down.

my brother and i played this game for like an hour, it’s pretty great! It seemed a bit buggy at times, but maybe that’s because of how my keyboard works.. sometimes one player wouldn’t be able to control the character, seemed to switch off

Very nice game indeed. The First time when one of the artists dropped and screamed it brought Insane Clown Posse’s Southwest voodoo’s ending to mind. It has a similar scenario.

On my keyboard, when one shift key is held, the other is unresponsive. I don’t know how common a problem this is, but some way to rebind the controls would be nice.

Brilliant! And unlike the original version, this one runs in Wine on Linux (much appreciated!). Music might be nice.
I second the bug ortoslon mentioned. Steps to reproduce: Player two hangs off player one. Player two taps their button to release into the air. Player one presses their button to swing faster/slower. Player two presses their button while still in the air. Player two will respawn and the round restarts.
Occasionally the respawned player two will appear clinging onto player one, and the original player two will land on them and grab on too, so you have three guys all hanging off the same trapeze. It’s pretty funny.

Great game, me and my sister have been playing it. Though I can’t find a way to make the game fullscreen like I did with the first 1 player version. Alt-Enter just makes one of the characters let go…

Please fix it so that one person can be holding shift while the other person tries to tap it. It makes co-op very hard otherwise.

there are also physics bugs: hands stretching and players clinging to each other (and falling to death, unable to separate or cling to anything else). maybe open the source so that other people can fix these if you don’t want to? the game is amazing, it would be a pity if one had to clone it from scratch to fix it

Don’t fix the physics bugs they have provided lots of entertainment for me and my sister. I remember old console games having bugs that weren’t used for cheating like people do these days but provided you with an entertaining alternative to what you expect to happen.
We need more bugs! lol. Only thin wrong with game is no fullscreen.
Also about the problem someone is having with controls, you can control one of the characters with the mouse so you don’t need to use both shift buttons.

Great game! Played for almost 2 hours in a row few nights ago alone. Can’t wait to play with a friend. I’m going to recommend this to all the people who are involved in circus. So much fun! I think this whole set up would be a good spot to start developing an even bigger game, although at the same time this is all a good game needs. Most fun game since Across.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace.
