I had to register on the forums here just to be able to say that I think a port of Crayon Physics would be a natural on the Nintendo DSi™! With it's local and Internet capabilities for sharing (learn and understand the security issues/limitations with the WEP protocol) and the SDHC slot for data storage (4 gigs on mine), creating and saving/downloading levels would be nearly limitless. While a downloadable version of the game would be convenient, the nature of the on-board game storage of the DSi means we'd lose the game if we traded or otherwise no longer had possession of the unit it was downloaded upon. This could make for repeat sales from diehard fans of the game but it could also make for more frustration. Although if the price is right, it may not be a major issue. Personally, I'd rather pay more for a cartridge than a cheaper download unless it was a fraction of the cartridge cost. Of course, being a download means it could be updated easier with any fixes or new features and may be more worth it in the long run.

What are the specs of Nintendo DSi. I doubt the will make a port to it, there's to many different types of nintendo, ps and xbox that they have to make a game Only for one type of console which they won't do becuase there will be a new system. Coming out soon. Like the iPod/iPhone the have the appstore so they can play it on any type of iPhone or iPod meaning the old generation or new. Same goes for PC downloadable on any pc. I would say they should Port it to Mac because it is another type of computer and it acts the same as a pc.

Windows Mobile Windows Mobile Windows Mobile This game desperately needs to be ported to the Windows Mobile platform. Most of the new WM phones have 3.5in touch screens or larger with WVGA Resolutions (480 X 800)!! Perfect for this type of game. Windows Mobile Marketplace is just around the corner for distribution ease, and as the forum poll shows, we want this game on Windows Mobile. Please port it

Windows mobile please! There are already some great posts as to why. Quite a few of us are coming over from Fuzemobility.com who gave us a heads up on this thread. I would LOVE this game on my Fuze. I thought the original was brilliant, and love playing it on the PC too. In my pocket would be perfection.
Grats to the author on being a pioneer for such a great genre! (Crayon Physics, Magic Pen, Fantastic Contraption) Physics FTW!!

windos mobile is the way to go.
had a demo of this great game on my pc, loved it, but since i am most of the time away from the pc when i would have time for a game i did not buy it.
being able to play it on winmo phone (Touch pro) would be a 100% buy

Windows mobile port would be nice, high resolution screens, a stylus, plenty of ram, fast processors (520mhz), a graphics chip on many devices and best of all on my diamond (and many upcoming phones) a g sensor. Just think what crayon physics could do with a g sensor! Sounds like a winning combo to me!

Actually, I already mentioned Windows Mobile a few months ago on the website's comments section.
Take the HTC Touch HD, a large 3.8" screen, not-capacitive screen which allows the usage of the stylus and supports fast enough graphics if you're able to program for it. (i.e. Sony Ericsson's Xtrakt). Besides that, gravity and light sensors are available, which could be used for a variety of functionality.
Disadvantage: it's WinMo.. But with HTC's current and upcoming lineup, so many people are introduced to WinMo, you have quite an market oppurtunity out there.

Windows Mobile definitely! It's really easy to work with. It's flexible with sizes as well. I'd so look forward to see this coming to VGA devices. I can see this working flawless on my HTC Fuze.

There will probably be no more ports to this game as i can see. I wish this topic never started.
