Top 24 Games I’ve Created

Wow, I think I’ve finally gotten the hang of this blogging thing: 7 posts this month, updated wordpress to the latest version, wrote a headline directly from a blogging guide. Those professional bloggers all say that the headline is the most important thing about a blog post and nothing drives traffic more than “Top X Y things” -headlines. Professional blogging career here I come!
Seriously. This is the link. I updated this blog a little bit and created this page that lists all the games that I’ve created. The order is chronological so it’s not really a “top 24″ list of my games, because it’s so hard to judge your own babies. (No it’s not, but the real reason is that this was much easier to do from the technical point of view. It keeps it self updated and everything.)

The iPhone already has an app called iPhysics, with a Crayon level pack.

Always a pleasure reading your blog, thoughts, and your participation/fight for modern new-thinking games, I actually got my brother to buy Braid.. I tried it myself as well, and it’s really a great and original new platformer, and also I really love the history, mystic, horror, and wonderful environment in it ..
Normally I do not read blogs, most of them are egocentric or political, but I really like yours, keep up the good work, and the monthly game
..
Many of my friends who still doesn’t know “Bloody Zombies” or “Humpsters” missed a really good laugh, like many of my others friend, they are all rolling on the floor the first time they see it, I must admit I am looking more forward to “Humpsters 2″ than Cryon Physics, I would really LOVE to see a follow-up to that game, it’s a sick combination of uncontrollable Mortal Kombat and Need for Speed Underground, choose your parts, click go, and FIGHT.. which is GREAT by the way

Petri: Can you give some comments on this, I would really like to know which games you have in consideration for developing on, I know you like to try new things out, but maybe you have some friends to help you write classes etc. ?
(I assume you use classes, OOP for developing)

I don’t know what will be the next “real” game that I’ll work on after Crayon Physics Deluxe. It’s more than likely that it’s going to be based on one of my prototypes, but I’m thinking that it’s not probably going to be another “Deluxe” title. I think the game will be very different from the original prototype. (Crayon Physics Deluxe is very different from the original prototype, but the look of the game is very much the same it’s not that easy to notice).
Humpsters 2 would be kinda interesting…
Btw. There will be some big news about Crayon Physics Deluxe soon, so hang in there

I show her the game and after done it she was asking me to download Delux version
( She’s not good in english ( I’m French ) and she aint understand that you’r working on… I’ll make a little mod for her… Some levels fast-make…

Unlike BloodyHoody I don’t think it would be that good to have a chat on this blog…
When you see how comments become easily uncontrollable about CPD, a chat window would be a total mess, imo.

I’m always inspired by your ever-wonderful gaming prototypes, Petri.
Unfortunately, my computer exploded (not litterally) last week. With it, I lost 1100+ games that was stored on my hard-drive. And, thanks to my Dad, the back-up was also destroyed. In the long-run, that means I’ve had to go and search for all the games I had again… bah!
Anyway, I’ve just finished re-downloading all your games again and was, once again, inspired by your work.
Oh, and also, I didn’t have the problem before, but now whenever I play one of your games, it doesn’t all fit on my screen.

Why not a kloonigame forum ?
We could post ideas, mods, comments, pics, score, talk of you games, talk of your nexts games, help for the problems with the games, videos, info,tuto and a lot of other things…
It would not be realy long to do and people would be able to talk without the comments …

Humpsters 2, I can only imagine!!
- Lots of faces and parts to choose
- Online multiplayer over TCP/IP with ranklist and levelups. (Characters hosted online to prevent cheating)
- Choose new skills on levelup like jump, punch, kick, whirlwind, etc. lol!!
- Throw it on your USB, take your humpster with you, and challenge your friends with Humpsters 2 installed.
- Create own textures.
- Fighting Styles (Ninja, Humpsters Classic, Mad Cow, Karatekid)

It’s incredible to see your evolution as a developer. I love how dramatically different your games are and look. I’m looking forward to what you cook up next.

Pluto Strikes Back is my favourite. I’m not normally in to the more casual games but Pluto is fun, relaxing, stress-relief and fun! I could play it for weeks and never get bored. And it’s so beautifully simple.
You are doing amazing things. Keep up the good work!
